Growing the Hiiba Community: What We've Been Up To

It has been an exciting few months at Hiiba. Our community keeps growing, and so does our hope of making reuse an everyday habit.

We have been spreading the word about reuse, meeting like-minded communities, and showing people that what they no longer need can still matter to someone else.

Featured on Fashion Rerun’s Circular Wall

Fashion Rerun invited us to join their Circular Wall, a space that brings together brands and initiatives building a more sustainable future. Of course we said yes.

The wall gave us a chance to show what Hiiba is all about. It also put us alongside other sustainable brands, and we learned a lot about the ways businesses across the UAE are embracing circularity.

What stood out most was the variety. Different ideas, different approaches, one shared goal: make better use of what we already have and cut down on waste.

Growing Our Impact

Impact can start small. Sometimes it is as simple as giving an item a second chance.

Every item shared through Hiiba stays in use for longer instead of ending up in the bin. As our community grows, so does the chance for reuse to feel normal, not niche.

We have also been starting conversations about reuse on social media and through community activities, nudging more people to think twice before tossing something they no longer need.

What’s Next for Hiiba?

We are proud of how far we have come, from growing our community to connecting with organisations and brands that share our vision. There is still a long way to go, and we are excited about it. Next, we will keep working to:
