Welcome to Hiiba: reuse made local in Dubai
Meet Hiiba, the Dubai reuse app built to help neighbors give useful items a second life while earning Eco Rewards.
Hiiba starts from a simple idea: many items still have value long after one household stops needing them. A stroller, lamp, coffee table, school bag, small appliance, or box of toys can sit unused for months, then become exactly what another neighbor was searching for.
Instead of sending those items to storage or landfill, Hiiba gives them a second path. You list an item, choose a Dubai area, add clear photos and a practical description, then let nearby members contact you. The app is built around giving, not selling, so the focus stays on speed, trust, and reuse.
The Hiiba app also introduces ERW, short for Eco Reward. New members start with an off-chain ERW balance, then use small amounts to message or reserve items. When a giver completes a handover, they can earn ERW for keeping something useful in circulation. That reward reflects the behavior Hiiba wants to encourage: share more, waste less, and make reuse feel normal.
Dubai is a strong place to build this habit. People move homes, refresh interiors, welcome new children, upgrade devices, and change routines often. A local reuse network helps those changes create less waste and more community value.
Hiiba is not trying to make every item perfect. It is trying to make every useful item easier to pass on responsibly. If the photo is honest, the pickup is clear, and the communication is respectful, the exchange can be simple.
The result is a circular reuse loop that feels local: a giver frees space, a receiver gets something useful, and the city keeps materials in use for longer.
